No, this really isn’t about what is fair in life. Life is never fair…just look around! No, this is about this cool new site I found reading a book on start-ups ( I will post a review later). Fairsoftware is a company that allows you to start a project for your idea. As a new project owner, you are doled out 1 million shares in your “company” which you can then assign to people who will participate in the “realification” of your idea. Here’s an example: You have the next great twitter idea but you no nothing about programming. You create a new project in the Fairsoftware cloud interface and then pitch your idea to the community and see who will participate from the community. Simple idea? Well, not the easy….it’s been said over and over again that ideas are a dime a dozen. This is very true. Programmers know and understand this too. So if you look for reviews on this concept of “I have an idea, help me build it and I will give you a piece of the company”…then you will find that programmers recognize that they will be doing all the work unless you can convince them that you can actually bring value to the table. “If your idea is that good, then why don’t you pay me to do it”….is the common response I see across the web. Well, if your like me, then you don’t have allot of cash to throw around and boot strapping is your only option. Your only gateway into the heart of a programmer is your expertise. Be the expert and you will garner trust. AND don’t lie about it because sooner then later you will be found out.
What’s Fair?
